Our leadership
Under the leadership of Marc Princen, CEO, the Executive Team is responsible for overseeing the business operations of Mundipharma.
Arnaud Breabout
Joined Mundipharma in 2018
Arnaud joined Mundipharma from GSK where he was most recently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Global Functions and Investments. He has a wealth of international Healthcare and FMCG experience gained over 25 years of experience with leading pharmaceutical companies.
At GSK, Arnaud held a number of senior finance leadership roles including CFO Pharmaceutical Pipeline, CFO Biopharmaceuticals and CFO Vaccines North America. Before joining GSK in 2002, Arnaud held positions at Procter & Gamble, Bristol Myers Squibb and PwC in France and the UK.
He holds an MBA from Amiens Business School, France, the DECF (French Diploma of Chartered Accountancy) and is a graduate of Harvard Business School (GMP).
Marc Princen
Joined Mundipharma in 2020
Marc is a highly proven pharmaceutical executive with a strong track record at leading pharmaceutical companies such as Schering-Plough, Merck, Takeda and Allergan. He is widely recognised for his expertise in business change and transformation.
Marc’s passion is to provide better patient access to innovative medicines. Since joining Mundipharma, Marc has led a significant transformation programme focused on building a high-performing, global company that delivers value for patients, customers, partners and employees.
Marc joined Mundipharma from Allergan, where he was Executive Vice President and President, International Business. He brings more than 30 years cross-functional experience in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise spanning commercial, marketing, business development and management.
He has held senior roles in world-leading pharmaceutical companies including President Europe and Canada at Takeda, President Mid-Europe Region at Merck and Regional Vice President at Schering-Plough. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven, Belgium.
Julie Dehaene-Puype
Joined Mundipharma in 2020
Julie joined Mundipharma from Takeda where she was most recently General Manager for France. She has over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with deep expertise in general management, sales and marketing, commercial operations, new product development and regulatory affairs.
Julie joined Takeda in 2015 as General Manager for Switzerland and took on additional responsibilities as Vice President Customer Excellence Europe and Canada in 2017. She spent five years at Merck/MSD, the last three years as Associate Vice President Commercial Operations Europe and Canada. She was with Schering-Plough for 11 years, most latterly as Director Mid-Size EU Markets Operations and where she also worked in global and US marketing, marketing research and European regulatory affairs.
She holds a PharmD, a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, and a master’s degree in Biological Medical Science from the University of Lille, France.
Bryan Lea
Joined Mundipharma in 1993
Bryan was appointed as General Counsel and Secretary to the Board in 2019. In his extensive career with Mundipharma, he has held a number of senior leadership roles including UK Legal Director, European General Counsel, with responsibility for all legal and compliance matters across the region, and as a member of national and regional leadership teams and boards. He joined Napp Pharmaceuticals in 1993.
Prior to Mundipharma, Bryan held positions in international law firms, Frere Cholmeley and Hammond Suddards, in London, Leeds and Paris, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and commercial law.
He completed his professional exams with distinction at Guildford College of Law, UK and holds a bachelor’s degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford, UK.
Erik Nordkamp
Joined Mundipharma in 2020
Erik joined Mundipharma from Pfizer, where he was most recently Regional Vice President and General Manager for the Upjohn division in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He has over 20 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical industry in general management, strategy development and execution, change management and productivity, and marketing and sales management.
During his 10 years with Pfizer, he held country Managing Director roles in Greece and the UK and was Strategy Lead and Senior Director Primary Care Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, he was with Eli Lilly for a decade, most latterly as Transformation & Lean Six Sigma Lead Europe and Canada. He also led the Specialty Care business unit for Germany and established the UK Oncology business unit.
He holds an MBA from the Erasmus Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands, a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the European Association for Environmental Management Education, Italy, and a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Nijmegen, Netherlands.
Carina Vassilieva
Joined Mundipharma in 2017
Prior to her appointment as Chief Human Resources Officer in 2020, Carina was Vice President Human Resources at Purdue Pharma (Canada). She has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles in a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals and healthcare, management consulting, consumer and retail, education and manufacturing.
She joined Mundipharma from Korn Ferry Hay Group where she was Associate Client Partner, Executive Compensation and Total Rewards. Prior to this, she was Senior Director, Organisational Effectiveness at Sofina Foods Inc. and Vice President, Human Resources at Rexall Pharmacy Group, a national chain of retail pharmacies in Canada. In addition to her extensive corporate experience, Carina has held board positions with not-for-profit organisations and professorships at York University School of Administrative Studies and Georgian College School of Business, Canada.
She holds an MBA from California Coast University, Santa Clara, US and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the State University of Printing, Moscow, Russia. She is a Certified Compensation Professional and a Global Remuneration Professional.
David A. Pidduck
Joined Purdue Pharma (Canada) in 2014
Prior to his appointment as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Canada in 2020, David was Vice
President, Commercial and Business Development for Purdue Pharma (Canada). He has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry with extensive experience in general management, sales, marketing, strategy, business development and people development.
David was at Baxter International for many years previously, where he held a number of senior leadership roles in Canada, the US and Switzerland, most latterly as Vice President Marketing EMEA.
He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, US and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wilfred Laurier University, Canada.
Steven Van den Bossche
Joined Mundipharma in 2018
Prior to his appointment as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales Services in 2020, Steven was Interim Head of Commercial Operations for Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (LAM) and Commercial Lead for Analgesics for LAM. He has over 20 years of experience in marketing and sales in the pharmaceutical industry.
Steven started his career with MSD but joined Mundipharma in 2003 where he held management roles in sales and marketing. In 2010 Steven joined Biogen where he held a number of leadership roles, most latterly as Sales & Marketing Director for Belgium and Luxemburg and member of the Global Strategic Team.
He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Leuven Flanders Business School, Belgium and a bachelor’s degree in physical education from University College Leuven-Limburg, Belgium.
Lori Reber
Joined Mundipharma in 2020
Lori has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including at Amgen, Baxter and Smith & Nephew, where she held increasingly senior Legal and Compliance roles and expanded geographical scope.
The majority of her experience has focused on building, implementing and refining regional and global compliance programmes to drive high-integrity business practices. Most recently, she was the Chief Compliance Officer at Coty Inc., a global, publicly-traded consumer goods company.
Lori holds a Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University in California.
